Associate Marriage and Family Therapist
Brooke Rebosio
Brooke is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist at Ocean Coast. Brooke supports clients with gaining coping skills, managing anxiety, and doing the inner work necessary to manage and maintain sobriety. Brooke specializes in trauma-focused therapy and is trained in EMDR and somatic psychotherapy. She received a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies in 2012.
Brooke uses an interdisciplinary approach in my therapy practice, using DBT skills, CBT, psychodynamic therapy, and trauma-focused therapy, among others. Brooke is also a trained life coach, so they can help clients create a vision and goals for their lives that they can look forward to and be proud of. The environment at Ocean Coast is nourishing and the team provides a comprehensive approach for our clients. The vibe is uplifting and supportive, and Brooke really enjoys being on a team that truly cares about people. Brooke loves supporting our clients with an individualized transformational experience, meeting them where they are and helping them thrive. It is powerful to see people come into the facility feeling anxious and hopeless and leave just weeks later feeling supported and empowered. Professionally, Brooke is passionate about helping people to heal their traumas and core beliefs. Brooke has also worked with survivors of human trafficking and children & families in the system, which have been powerful experiences for me as a therapist. She intends to continue making contributions to their community through therapeutic practice, helping people get sober, get unstuck, and move forward in their lives. Personally, Brooke is a dog lover, spending time after work at the dog park, doing hot yoga or Pilates, and hanging out with her husband. Brooke also loves to travel internationally and recently visited both Japan and Italy.
